Measure H is victorious.
Among other rotten activities in the Irvine City Hall, I was disappointing with the 3 member majority's passage of measure H. Now the city is out 200,000 dollars and stuck with a penalty-less and redundant law. The only ones laughing now are Agran, Krom, and Kang because their plan to smear Shea and Choi worked flawlessly. What I am predicting is that the council majority is trying to rack up ammunition for their slate mailer campaigns in the November election. Armed with slogans like "Choi, Shea reject ethics reform" or "Shea opposes anti-lobbyist measure" they could easily dupe the average Irvine citizen.
